This a charming cottage and prime location many dream of for their summer vacation. See maps below to view exactly how close this is to the beach. Steps to playgrounds, ice cream store at the beach, and easy walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. This home is on a quiet, dead-end street next to Charles Mears State Park. Not too many other rental homes this close to the beach. The cottage is tastefully decorated. There are three bedrooms: the master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom has a full bed, and the third bedroom has two sets of bunk beds (four twins). There are also two full baths; one off the master bedroom. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and microwave oven. Enjoy the large, newer great room with dining table, comfortable seating, flat screen cable TV, and extra sleeping area--it's a great open space for a large group to gather. There is a beautiful fireplace in house for view only (not to be used), but the owners do allow a small, low profile fire in the fire pit which must be fully extinguished when not supervised. There's also a cozy, seperate living room. Wonderful outdoor living areas are surrounded by white beach sand. Relax in front on the large deck and listen to the waves with a view of Lake Michigan. Have dinner on the tree-shaded back patio outfitted with gas grill, tables, and hammock. No pets, no smoking. This is one of the largest lots in the whole area. A true vacation location! Master bedroom has air, T.V.s, vcr, dvd, dishwasher. patio set, picnic table, beach chairs.
